Honestly, I finished it some weeks ago but I didn't find any time to take some pictures....
It's curious to see how naked it seems compared to the F2007. Anyway, I enjoyed very much building this car and, as always in tamiya kits, the fitting is near to be perfect!

Very well done with the F60 and you are right about the F2007's livery. It's color is also beautiful!
If you don't mind, I have two questions for you:
1 - What was the first F1 kit that you built?
2 - Do you have any suggestion of a F1 kit to be the first for a novice?
So far I have assembled 12 kits, most of them Muscle Cars and most OOBs. I have 14 F1 model kits, which one of the following list would you suggest?
1965 Honda F1 RA 272
1976 McLaren M23
1979 Williams FW07
1981 Ferrari 126CK (Fujimi)
1982 Brabham BT50 BMW
1982 Renault RE30B
1982 Ferrari 126C2 (Fujimi)
1986 Williams FW11
1987 Lotus 99T Honda
1989 Zakspeed Yamaha ZK891 (Hasegawa 1/24)
1990 Benetton Ford B190B (Hasegawa 1/24)
1992 Benetton Ford B192
1997 Ferrari F310B
2006 BMW Sauber (Revell 1/24)
Thank you to share your models.

Hi Guilherme,
1. The first model I built in my life was, 8 years ago, the tamiya's mclaren mp4/13. It's not the best model to start in this fantastic world (the fitting is perfect anywhere but the paint and decal job is really difficult) but all went OK and I didn't stop since then....
You can see it in the gallery of my first website:
http://telefonica.net/web2/f120/gallery.htm
2. About the kit I could suggest in your list:
(I haven't build most of them so my opinion is not 100% accurate)
a. the most important thing. Choose the one you really would like to see built.
Also is important to start with a kit with good fitting (I had some problems on the cowling with lotus 99 and ferrari 310b)...
Maybe I would recommend one of the following:
RA272, 126C2, 126CK, B192:
b. I really enjoyed very much building the RA272. Not difficult and really nice to see once finished.
c. The two fujimi (126C2 & 126CK) are also great to build, the fitting is not perfect like tamiya's but it's very good.
d. The benetton B192 has very good fitting too and it looks very nice finished. Maybe the paintjob is more difficult but not impossible. One of my favourites.
e. I plan to build BT50 and FW07 together soon (maybe after the two lotus 79 I'll start now) and, of course, you will be able to follow the WIP in my blog.
f. the m23 will have to wait.... too much models waiting in my desktop!!!!
g. fw11 is also a very nice looking car but I think that the paintjob and decalling will be really difficult.
g. And finally, I can't say anything about the hasegawas because I didn't build anyone of them.
I don't know if I helped you....
Please tell me the one you will choose!
thank you again to follow my blog and best regards!
josep
Hi Josep,
Thank you very much for your input, it will help me to choose one of those kits.
Well the kits I really would like to see built are the ones that represents cars driven by Nelson Piquet (BT50, FW11, B190B and B191B - from the B192!). But to build those I need to improve my skill.
I was to choose in between the RA272 and the 99T. I am currently working in the Sauber C9 LeMans and the Chevy SSR (a pickup truck), when I finish one of them I will start the RA272.
Thank you for sharing your builds. I am always visiting your blog and the gallery.
Best regards,
Guilherme Rosa
